About me

Since my early twenties, I have been dedicated to developing my voice and have experienced firsthand what it takes. I’ve performed in theatre, done opera improvisation, and sung both in choirs and as a soloist in theatres and with orchestras.

In 2004, I earned a Master’s degree in classical singing from the Southern Denmark Academy of Music. After that, I spent three years in Berlin and New York, pursuing further training at a high professional level. It was during this time that my awareness and training of breath and the body for professional voice use truly began to deepen.

During my international studies, I worked closely with bodyworkers in methods such as the Alexander Technique, Franklin Method, Anatomy Trains, Feldenkrais, Gyrotonic, Yoga, Mindfulness, Breath Work, and Body Dynamics.

Every voice is unique. Your voice is your vocal calling card.
The voice can change throughout life — for better or worse.

When working to free the voice, you must be able to focus in order to achieve embodied reflection.
It is the ability to reflect that is essential for the development of the voice.

When I returned to Denmark, I supplemented my studies with training in voice rehabilitation.
In 2009, I opened the doors to my business, Voice in Motion. The focus here is on creating a dynamic interaction between voice and body. In my work with individuals and groups, I pay close attention to enhancing both physical and mental awareness — as both directly affect the voice.

The combination of being a trained singer, knowing the physiology of the voice from the inside, and having many years of hands-on experience working with others’ voices — along with continued professional development — gives me a unique foundation for working specifically with your voice.

The best of both worlds

In my practice, immediate sensing is my inner compass. I’ve always had a strong intuition, which has only grown stronger over the years. I use it actively in my work with the people I meet through Voice in Motion. Since 2009, I have held many people in my hands and listened deeply to the bodies in front of me.

A strong intuition is the guide of my soul — lovingly and insistently leading me through life. It is relentless and calls for acute presence.

A journey toward discovering and unlocking the voices of others

Today, I’m not afraid to say that my intuition is a vital guide in my work — it sharpens my senses and enhances my ability to discover and explore new paths toward understanding and unlocking the voices of others.

But a calling comes with responsibility. Intuition cannot stand alone. One must continuously acquire new professional knowledge and practical experience.
The immediate intuition and the carefully cultivated expertise form two spheres that merge into the best of both worlds.
